The problem is a Fermi problem. Enrico Fermi was a famous physicist (Enrico helped build the first nuclear bombs). One of Fermi's core beliefs was that a person should be able to estimate anything to within an order of magnitude (error no more than a power of 10). If the actual value is 575 the acceptable "back of the envelope" quick estimate would be between 100 and 1000. Estimation problems where an order of magnitude estimate are desired are called Fermi problems.
